Legal Advocacy Program for API Communities (LAPAPI)
Funded by the federal Office on Violence Against Women (OVW), Monsoon established a much-needed service in 2019, the Legal Advocacy Program for API Communities, to provide free culturally specific legal assistance for Asian and Pacific Islander (API) victims/survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, dating violence, stalking, and human trafficking and their families across Iowa.
