Usicha Marchant is Monsoon’s Financial Manager. She was Monsoon’s first multilingual advocate, providing direct services and conducting community outreach and education from 2009 to 2010. Usicha was born and grew up in Thailand, where she completed a master’s degree in Education and a bachelor’s degree in English and Japanese. She has worked as a university instructor, translator, interpreter, web master, photographer, office manager and consular fraud investigator in Thailand, Burma, Cambodia, Australia and the United States. Outside her work hours, Usicha enjoys being a mother and spending quality time with her young, active son. She can be reached at usicha@monsooniowa.org
