Audri Lu-Uhlken

Audri Lu-Uhlken is the community health coordinator at Monsoon Asians & Pacific Islanders in Solidarity. She was born and raised in Des Moines within the Lao and Taidam communities, and identifies at Southeast Asian-American. Audri graduated from the University of Iowa in 2012 with a B.A. in Journalism and Mass Communication and an entrepreneurial certificate. She is currently obtaining her Masters in Social Work with an emphasis on community leadership at the University of Iowa hybrid program. She is set to graduate in Spring 2025. Audri served as a community liaison for Des Moines Public Schools from 2020-2022. Prior to that, she was the youth program coordinator at Monsoon from 2018-2020, and worked in marketing & entertainment media before that in Omaha, Denver and Des Moines. In her free time, Audri enjoys traveling, live music, being outdoors, reading, and spending time with her husband, Blake, and young daughter, Ashton.
